Sometimes it's hard to fit exercise into our lives, even though we know that it is important. Because of the way we have structured our lives and our communities, we spend more time in the car and less time walking and biking to get from one place to another. Passive
Transportation means sitting in your car. Active Transportation means
using your own feet and legs to get from one place to another. In
Evansville, we are lucky that we can still walk and bike to many
places in our city. During
the month of September, the Evansville Initiative challenges YOU
to use Active Transportation instead of
Passive Transportation. Sign
up now to participate in our challenge!! Visit the Sign Up page to download and print out forms, find out about some special discounts for participants, as well as some prizes that you might win! Active
Transportation is an easy way to fit exercise into your life.
